BEEF SALAD

Description:

This aromatic Asian salad combines lemony-flavoured coriander leaves with cool cucumber, refreshing mint and rare beef.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Beef filled sliced thinly
  • Pineapple cut into medium pieces
  • Tomatoes cut into medium pieces
  • Onions
  • Shallots
  • Hot chilli
  • Fresh mint
  • Spring onions
  • Chinese celery
  • 1 ½ TBS fish sauce
  • ½ TBS sugar and chilli paste / tom yum paste
  • 1 TBS lime juice
    1 TBS water

Method:

  • Add the water and a pinch of salt into a pot.
  • When the water is boiling add the beef and turn off once beef is cooked.
  • Add shallots, chilli and the seasoning and mix well together.
  • Add pineapple, onions, tomatoes, spring onion, Celery and fresh mint and mix well together.
  • Serve on a plate and enjoy as a starter.
