STEAMED FISH

Description:

It’s a marvelous Thai steamed fish dish, and being sour, spicy, garlicky, and well balanced in taste, it’s a Thai dish that really portrays the contrast and excitement of flavors in Thai food.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ginger finely julienned
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • Fish
SAUCE for 1 person:
  • Fresh chillies cut finely
  • Garlic cut finely
  • Coriander roots chopped finely
  • ½ TBS sugar
  • 1 TBS lime juice
  • 1 ½ TBS fish sauce
  • 1 TBS water
  • Mix together.

Method:

  • In a sheet of aluminium foil place your fish on top of the kaffir lime leaves.
  • Put ginger on top of the fish and add the sauce on top.
  • Close the parcel of aluminium well and place in an ovenproof dish.
  • Cook for 7 minutes, depending on size of fish.
  • Check that the fish is well cooked.
